HIP HOP生誕50年の年に、53歳にしてソロデビューすることになるとは。しかもその曲が四半世紀に渡る因縁の、BOSS THE MCとのコラボになろうとは笑。HIP HOPっていいなあ。なので、オレはもっと頑張ることに決めました。ソロもライムスターも。職業「ラッパー」をありにした日本で第一の世代として、それなりに歳をとった今、何を歌っていけばいいのか、どんなコトバを発するのか。まだ誰も体験したことのない領域に突入して行く感じ、すげーワクワクします。ちなみに本楽曲「同じ月を見ていた」はBOSS名義の「STARTING OVER featuring Mummy-D」の続編にして前日譚。スタイルも出身地も異なる二人のMCの「時間」が織りなすゲージュツを、是非ともご堪能くださいまし。

ヒップホップ自体がまだ若い、もしくは若い人達のカルチャーだと長らく言われてきた。まあ一理ある。ただそれは俺達の前までの話。40代、50代のラッパーが歌う人生の酸いも甘いも嚙み分けた曲の豊饒さがここからそんなイメージを覆していく。生きてりゃ生きた分、色々あっからね。若気の至りのビヨンド。数は随分減ったが、残ったのは皆が精鋭。俺達が最前線。キャリア34年後のソロデビューおめでとうございます。シーズン2、派手に飾っていきましょう！
